Laragh Area Development Group Ltd has recently opened their fully equipped state of the art gym and sauna, in Stradone Community Centre. The purpose built gym room, accommodates 17 state of the art pieces of equipment, including, treadmills, crossstrainers, exercise bikes, along with 8 machines suited to various muscles of the body. The newly installed sauna on the premises, is free of charge to gym members
Gym and Sauna for €1 per day
We constantly hear, of the necessity of regular exercise in our lives. For many the cost of joining a gym has been prohibitive, but not any more. For €1.15 per day you can look out at the Irish weather from the comfort of the gym in Stradone Community Centre - you don’t even have to miss your favourite TV programmes, as TV monitors are installed.

About Stradone Community Centre
14/08/2007Laragh Area Development Ltd is a voluntary community organisation. It was set up in 1998 and currently its main function is to manage Stradone Community Centre, and The Gym in Stradone Community Centre, on behalf of the community of Laragh.
Stradone Community Centre was built in 1972 and a major extension, plus refurbishment was completed in 2007. Stradone Community Centre has a variety of rooms for accommodating meetings, training courses, conferences, concerts, etc – in fact the main hall has seated accommodation for 350. The Community Centre has hosted events for both local and national organisations. For the community of Stradone/Laragh and surrounding areas, Stradone Community Centre is essential, to facilitate many of the activities in the area.
Location/Directions
Stradone Community Centre is in Stradone Village on the R 165. It is less than five minutes drive off the main Cavan/Dublin Rd. (N3) - from Dublin/Virginia direction take, the first junction left, after The Lavey Inn.
