Gaeltacht Scholarships
Glor Bhreifne is making available a number of part scholarships for secondary school students from Co Cavan to attend courses in Gaeltacht Dhun na nGall. Scholarship interviews take place in Cootehill Celtic GAA Clubhouse, Saturday 26th May at 11am. Scholarships are financed by the annual Comhaltas Uladh de Chonradh na Gaeilge, Church Gate collection held throughout Co Cavan on St Patricks Day. Bunnoe festival committee are hosting a three county cycle challenge as part of their programme on Saturday 2nd June. 100K challenge for experienced cyclists and 30k challenge for leisure cyclists.

'Save Our Schools' march to Dublin
Lisboduff N.S. on Saturday 26th of May for the 'save our small national schools' march on Dail Eireann. The school are asking for as much support as possible for our school and teachers. Anyone intending to travel can book a seat on bus by phoning school between 10am and 12 noon daily or text Angela McCarville on 086-3216948. Aunts , uncles, friends and neighbours all welcome.

First Communion
First Holy Communion took place in Bunnoe Church on Saturday last. The following pupils received the sacrament; Chloe McCabe, Caolan Fitzsimons, Brady Maguire,Cian Daly, Sean McDonnell and Zilvinas Jonaitis.

Charity BBQ in Matties Mushroom House on Saturday 7th July.Full bar, food, music, auction and fun in aid of Cavan/Monaghan oncology unit, Drumkill alzheimers unit and Monaghan ISPCC. Sympathy
Sympathy is extended to Mrs Philomena Heuston, Drumbrollisk and her family on the death of her mother Mrs Mary Anne McCaffrey, Kilsob , Bawnboy, which occurred last week.

World Record Attempt
The largest ringa ringa rosey world record attempt will take place at St Aidans Comprehensive School Cootehill on this Friday at 12 noon, with participation from Lisboduff, Drung and Kill national schools. Sponsor cards are in circulation with proceeds in aid of Cootehill under 14 hurling team who will represent Cavan at this years Feile na Gael. Kevin Traynor and Niall Fitzpatrick represent this area on that team.
