Drung GFC Variety Show
Drung GFC annual variety show took place in Drung Community Centre last weekend. This thoroughly enjoyable event was well attended and great credit is due to the entire cast and their producers Martin O Rourke and Ben Brady.

Bunnoe Boxing Club
Training for boys on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm and girls on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm. Big congratulations to Michaela Gaffney who won the Louth/ Meath girls open boxing championship today. Also best of luck to Stephen McCooey who is through to the boys final next Sunday.
Bunnoe Crackers Variety Show
Rehearsals are in full swing for all sections and show will be staged on Thursday March1st to Sunday March 4th.

Died in England
The death has occurred in Swindon, England of Mrs Annie Johnson [nee McCaul] late of Lisarney. Annie was predeceased by her brothers Pakie McCaul, Lisarney, and Mick McCaul, Redhills. She is survived by her sister Mrs Mary McDonald, Dunmurry, sister in law Mrs Maggie McCaul, Lisarney, nephews and nieces to whom sympathy is extended.

Sympathy

Congratulations to Paraic Keenan, Lisnageer and Kate O Riordan Macroom, Co Cork who were married on New Years Eve in Macroom with reception afterwards in Muckross House Hotel Killarney.
Died in U.S.A.
The death occurred last week of Mr John Fay in Syracus U.S.A . Formerly from Cornacarrow, Drung, John was married to Maggie Smith, Ballyholly , Lisboduff and they resided in the U.S. for many years. John is survived by his wife Maggie, sons, daughters,and his sister Rose in Dublin to whom sympathy is extended.
