The parents of children requesting to join Scouts are also requested to attend the AGM for further information.

County Camp Competition.

Congratulations to our Scouts who came third in the County Competition which took place last weekend in Dun A Ri Camp site, Kingscourt. Well done to everyone!

Thanks to Leaders Lynn and Roza for taking the Young Scouts to their first Camping Competition.

Special thanks to Jane and Catriona for all their help. And thank you Pat for your help in loading up. Cheers!

Scout Orienteering Day

Cavan Monaghan Scout Orienteering Day Saturday 8th Novemer

Venue:      Rossmore Forest Park, Monaghan
Time:        Leaving Hall 8.30am, returning @ approx 4pm
Cost:        €18 per scout

Other Groups attending are: Ballyduff; Carrick; Blaney; Monaghan; Ballybay; and Cavan.
 
If you could bring knives; forks; spoons; bowls and cups each, as well as the usual wet gear; wear old clothes; spare clothes and compasses. Pack a small lunch also.

Mini Hike

Hi Cubs,

We are doing a short Hike around the Castle Lake on Monday 20th Oct. We are meeting at 7.00pm at the Shercock Road entrance to the Castle Lake. Collecting at 8.15pm same place. Make sure you all wear warm clothes and suitable footwear. Torch is essential......YOU CANNOT SEE IN THE DARK!!! If you have a Hi-viz jacket wear it also. Contact Emma with any questions. 087 1218138
